OOC: I hope it's okay, I'll change if it isnt, promise. Spending nearly an hour to take one-step outside the Hades Cabin, Celeste Lydia Rose felt completely out of place, with the costume she had gone out to get with Danny. 'What a bloody nightmare that had been.' Danny said, as Celeste stood at the doorway, trying to get the nerve to step out of the common room. Danny was ecstatic with the dress Celeste had picked out, while Celeste herself wasn't that pleased with the choice at all. Apart from it being completely out of character for her, Celeste’s reputation was on the line aswell, and that was something she’d have rather not risk if she had the choice, but alas the choice wasn’t her’s anymore. This was for the Twins, and that all that mattered.
'Celeste, you look pretty' Danny said gently, trying to urge her out of the door, his hand squeezing her free one. 'No, you hate it.' Celeste whispered, stepping back from the door again, she wouldn't go out there until she got the truth out of Danny. He stopped trying to pull her out of the door, and turned around to face her, hands on his hips. ‘I don’t hate it! You’re just trying to get out of this, by blaming it on me, I’m onto you Celeste!” Danny’s innocent act dissapeared and his true nature appeared, so much more deadly than Celeste really wanted. ‘Fine, but if it all turns to rot, I’m going to send you back to hell, and I won’t be calling you back any time soon.” She snapped, flicking her streaked blue and black hair behind her head, glaring hard at him. Celeste was still holding the two gift wrapped presents in her right hand, and the other held the black roses.
A little push was in order, Danny thought and with that he forced her out of the door. Celeste nearly tripped over the part of her dress that was trailing behind her, when Danny pushed her out of the door. Now that Celeste was outside the Cabin, it closed behind her, and she knew she wasn't going back anytime soon. Following the paths lit by lights and passed fellow members who looked a little lost, the only sympathy she had was for her own cousins and the truly lost, she told them were to go, to their shock, and followed her towards the Party, whispers erupting from behind her like wildfire. Celeste could feel a pang of nerves start to gurgle up, as she waved Danny goodbye, and he dissapeared into the night, a very deadly smile crossed that very innocent face.
Entering the Party had pushed all of her nerves away when she noticed there weren’t many people yet. Celeste walked passed a couple not much older than herself, she noticed that the girl was one of her “cousins,” but thought better not to speak to her yet, let the girl have some fun. Reaching a chair on the furthest side of the entrance, Celeste picked up her dress a little before she sat down, making sure it didn’t catch on anything. Celeste glanced around her, as she waited for a familiar face to appear

CostumeSerina's GiftNerina's GiftAnnabeth Jackson carefully piled the gifts for her daughters from herself onto a table she had brought down from the Big House. She had no clue where anybody was, except that she thought most of the Camper's were still dressing up in their cabins. She stroked the hem of her Milkmaid dress a little apprehensively. She hadn't been able to find anything more modest. But she thought Percy would smile. Percy always smiled at the wrong moment. On the other hand, she was fairly confident about the gifts she had gotten her twin daughters. She couldn't wait until they saw what she had got them! Annabeth absently wondered what Percy would get them. She didn't know, mostly because she had been in a frenzy all week. Ah well, it was bound to be something good, she hoped.

Damien adjusted his costume. It was specifically not what he had ordered, something that amused Torelli to no end. Torelli was a mystic tailor that Damien had encountered in the past, he could make clothes that could make the wearer invisible, shift shape, or do one of a million things. However the payment required was atypically the soul of a loved one, so Damien had yet to utilise his abilities. However upon hearing that Damien was going to be attending the twins sixteenth, he had insisted on making Damien a free costume. "It won't be flashy," the tailor had said. "No waterproofing, no electric coils or levitation spells hidden in the fabric, but it will be stylish." Damien had shrugged. He just needed a costume. It was either this or using a marker to write the word Book on his face and go to the party as 'facebook'. "How about a dark prince?" Torelli had asked in his sickeningly creepy voice. "Or a blood hungry vampire? I could lend you some hover bats to complete the illusion." "Alright," said Damien. "Just nothing embarrasing." "Of course not," said the tailor. "I wouldn't dare do such a thing to one of my closest friends." After some time they settled on a Grim Reaper outfit complete with a scyth that would wail every time it was swung. Naturally that was not the costume that arrived. "Torelli," Damien whispered aloud when he checked out the package that had arrived. "When you die, I will personally ensure that you have a particularly disgusting afterlife." He felt the fabric, it could have been worse. At least Torelli hadn't opted for a Barney the Dinosaur outfit or something. Damien picked up a note attached to the costume.
As if I would make a Grim Reaper outfit for you. You're much too short to be scary. So it's either this, or Oscar the Grouch. -Anton Torelli
Damien mused at the outfit. It wasn't so bad he decided.
That was how he ended up creeping towards the twins party in a hobbit outfit. At least that was what he assumed it was. Lord of the Rings was not a particularly strong area of knowledge for him. At least it gave him an excuse to carry weapons. In his left hand he held the twins presents. They would certainly like this. He entered the room discreetly and breezed towards a throng of people. Time to mingle.

Ah, where would the campers be if not for camp? The three best things that ever happened to him were at this sweet sixteen, two of them were his daughters and the third his wife. His heavenly wife - literally. He had love for his wife the way a male would, and love for his daughters the way a father would. Everything seemed to be going right for him at last. His heart skipped a beat when he saw his wife and he needed to hold his magic present tight to stop it falling from his hands. There weren't many around, he couldn't even see his daughters. For his costume he had decided not to bring too much attention to himself, and eventually decided to spend this night showing respect to an old friend. Pan. He had made the horns himself and his shoes were coloured outlines of hooves with fake hair sprouting from them.
Shrugging his way through the people that had arrived he found his wife, in his box contained two pink dreamcatchers that were decorated as if they were from Aphrodite's cabin. Percy was forced to admit he might have overdone on the girly glitter, but he hadn't been the one that had daughters instead of sons. Being a man, it was harder for him to understand what women wanted even after all these years of marriage. "Sweetheart your a blessing in disguise" he said to his wife, kissing her on the cheek as he put his invaluable box on the table. They were unbreakable and also promised success by blocking out any bad vibes you recieved during sleep. At least that was what he had been told, he could've been ripped off. They were also meant to stop hallucinations.
"Alright. Where are the girls?" he asked.

Today was the day Nerina had been waiting for. Her sixteenth birthday had finally come around and she had been excited and hyper all day long. She had gone swimming and done everything in the name of water that she could including launching a water bomb fight from the roof of her cabin. But now the day was starting to end meaning the party was about to begin. Nerina was in her cabin alone as Omen wasn't about but she had no problem getting into her costume. Now Nerina was never one to go for something obvious of her cabin like a mermaid or a sea nymph or even a typical girl costume like Wonder Women or a princess. But she had gone for a princess costume though the costume she had was definitely not your everyday princess as Nerina was not even an everyday demigod.
Nerina had decided to go as a princess yes, but a warrior princess like Xena. But she had still choose it in a way befitting to her cabin as the colours of the cloth cape and the jewels where a deep sapphire blue in the name of her grandfather and father. But the warrior armour was in the name of her grandmother the goddess of battles and her mother. So it was really her perfect costume and she was so glad she had thought of it. Nerina had her costume on nearly complete all that was left was the head piece. Placing it on she looked in the mirror surrounded by coral on the wall and she loved it, so a huge smile spread across her already lit up and joyful face. Then she tightened the straps of her knee high roman sandals as to make sure that the wouldn't snag on her cape. And with that done Nerina made her way for the door.
Then as she was just about open the door she stopped and turned back and there sat on her bed was her sisters present. So she rushed over to the bed and grabbed to small silver wrapped package before heading out of her cabin. In her hands was a one of a kind headband as it had magical properties just like her watch and hair slides. This headband when activated by pushing the jewels behind the right and left ears would transform into a helmet to protect the wearer. But what made it even more unique was that Nerina had asked for it to be coloured so the metal was a light silvery blue and the plume was a grey silver colour trimmed with a sea blue so it fit to both Athena and Poseidon. And she had asked her Uncle Tyson to make it in the forges of Poseidon as Nerina wasn't too good at making amour but she had decorated the headband as that she was skilled at.
After walking past the cabin Serina's present in her hands Nerina soon came to the place where the party was to be held. The wonderful Amphitheater. Standing at the top of the steps Nerina smiled looking at the marvelous decorations draped around her. Looking around it seemed her twin was yet to arrive so she would have to wait to give her twin her present. So she was one her way over to place it with the other presents when she spotted her parents and she heard her father say. "Alright. Where are the girls?" Her father had his back turned to her so she just couldn't pass up the opportunity. "Well I'm right here Dad!"Nerina said placing Serina's present don on the table before she ran and launched herself on her dad's back as she was still very much a big kid.

Post by Stark Kalen Knight on May 24, 2010 22:52:18 GMT
The day was more or less finished meaning the sun was setting in the sky. So Stark finally came out of the woods as the effect the sunlight had on him now was a lot weaker as it began to set. In a hour or so it wold be night and he would feel at the top of his game. He was glad the Jackson twins party was a night as it meant he could attend and actually not feel like he was going to keel over. So he slunk back to his cabin which was beginning to glimmer slightly as the sun fell. Stepping inside he threw of his hat and kicked the door shut as he was the cabins only resident and head counselor so he could do pretty much what he like as long as it didn't break any of the camp rules. Some people might be lonely in a cabin on their own but Stark really didn't mind it as it was just like having his own room on camp.
So striping of his jacket Stark went over to his bed where his costume for the party laid. Now most people might have thought that Stark might have just come as he normally dressed as it was fantasy like anyway. But those people didn't know Stark at all. He loved the chance to dress up and be somebody else. That's why the costume laying on his bed was for his one and only hero the Green Arrow. He had even paid a Hephaestus kid to make him a exact working replica of the bow. Which he had been practicing with in the forest as he had never been the best archer, but now he wasn't too shabby though the Apollo kids could probably still beat him. But they we're all expert archers so Stark didn't care as at least he could shoot a target and hit it now as he had been practicing with a tin can and a tree branch.
So suiting up he was almost ready to go as he pulled the hood up and slid his sunglasses into place as he was never short of them and had a variety of pairs to choose from. Then he grabbed he two little bags on the window sill. One was a dark grey for Serina and the other a dark blue for Nerina so he didn' get the mixed up. Then he slung his bow over his back before heading out of the door to head up to the birthday party. On his way there he quickly checked the bags making sure the to figurines he had bought for the twins where still in their. Now he though the fairies might seem a little dark but that was his own little touch on them so they would know who they was from. Plus the fact they was both warrior fairies as he thought both the twins where brilliant warriors and elegant girls the same time so the fairies in a way captured a bit of them.
But looking up he made his way past the enlarged horse shoe of cabins on his way up to the Amphitheater. I didn't take him long to reach there and when he did their wasn't an overly big mount of the campers present so they must be all getting dolled up in their cabins. He could see Nerina the more feisty one of the twins in what seemed to be a warrior princess out fit trying to gain a piggy back ride off of he Dad. At this Stark had to give a small chuckle as it seemed that girl would never be too old for foolish tricks, just like her Dad. So with his disguise in place he wondered down and placed the two bags on the table. Glancing around he saw Celeste looking rater alone so he decided to talk to her as their parents was pretty close. "Hey brilliant costume Celeste very suiting." Stark said as he neared her.

Being crippled by his daughter Percy only just caught Stark's comment which brought his attention to Celeste, "Oh yes, definitely in the top ten" he agreed, lowering his back to let his daughter go and then retrieving his present that he'd put on the table. "I want mine to be the first one you open" he smiled, glad that inside the box were two boxes with their names on them so that there was no certainty her other twin's gift would be suspected. One of their dreamcatchers was shaped like a tadpole shrimp, courtesy of his father, and the other was courtesy of Annabeth's mother and was shaped like an owl. He handed the box to his daughter unable to stop himself from remembering his daughters as little girls. Before he entered a fit of logomania he urged his daughter by saying "Open it" with a hearty grin.
Children truly did change you, Percy wasn't sure he had the same heart as he did upon experiencing the birth of his children. His heart felt fuller, better. It wouldn't be long and it would be his wife's birthday in August, he could see him teasing his daughters on that day. The type of look that said 'we're the ones who made you'.

Annabeth smiled as lots of the Campers filtered into the Ampitheater, all holding presents and wearing ludicrous outfits. She clutched her own gifts to her two daughters nervously. She was confident she had chosen the right weapons for both of them, a blade for Serina and a bow for Nerina, the question was whether they would like them or not. Annabeth prayed that they did. She chuckled to herself a little when Percy walked in, dressed as what looked like a Satyr. He had better hope that Grover wouldn't turn up to the party. She stroked a lock of hair back from his face when he kissed her cheek, after all these years the two were so comfortable and natural with each other they didn't even have to focus on each other. "You're more of a nature blessing," She teased, prodding his faux horns with a mischevious finger.
Suddenly excited she pressed her present into Nerina's lap. "Open it! Open it!" Annabeth squealed.
